Terms
Terms of use for our website.
The ground rules for using the Kerman Chamber of Commerce website, in plain language. By using the site you agree to them.
Last updated: October 12, 2026
1. Using this site
This website is run by the Kerman Chamber of Commerce ("the Chamber," "we," "us"), a 501(c)(6) business association at 783 S. Madera Ave, Kerman, CA 93630, to tell the community about Kerman businesses, Chamber events and membership. You're welcome to use it. Please be respectful, and don't:
- use it for anything unlawful, or to send spam;
- try to break into it, overload it, or get at data that isn't yours;
- copy the member directory in bulk, by hand or with automated tools, for solicitation or resale;
- submit anything false, or impersonate another person or business.
If you use the site on behalf of a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.
2. Membership and dues
Membership is subject to approval and to payment of annual dues. Dues cover the full calendar year, January 1 through December 31. Chamber dues may be deductible as a business expense; check with your tax advisor. Applying on this website is an application only; membership begins once the Chamber confirms it and dues are received. Benefits, dues levels and payment methods can change; the current ones are on our Join page. Dues are generally non-refundable, except at the Chamber's discretion. If you were charged by mistake, email executive.director@kermanchamber.org and we'll make it right.
3. Member directory and listing accuracy
Directory listings come from what members tell us. Each member is responsible for keeping its listing accurate and for having the right to use any logo, photo or text it sends us, and lets the Chamber show that content on this website, in Chamber news and in Chamber promotion while its membership is active. We may edit listings for length or format, and remove anything unlawful, misleading or inappropriate.
We do our best to keep the directory current, but we don't verify every detail, such as hours, licenses or prices. A listing is not an endorsement or guarantee of a member's products or services, and any dealings you have with a member are between you and that member. Spotted a mistake? Email executive.director@kermanchamber.org.
4. Events
Event dates, times, places and details can change, so please check with the Chamber before you head out. An RSVP on this site tells us you plan to come; it isn't a ticket or a guarantee of a seat unless we say so. If a photo of you from a Chamber event appears on this site and you'd like it taken down, email executive.director@kermanchamber.org and we'll remove it.
5. Accounts
If you have a staff or member account, keep your password to yourself, keep your details current, and tell us right away about any use you didn't authorize. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
6. Optional website services offer
As a member benefit, the Chamber has arranged a discount from Imaginarii (the studio that built this website) for members who need a website. Any such work is a separate agreement, quoted individually between you and Imaginarii; the Chamber is not a party to it and makes no promises about it.
7. Our content
The Chamber's name, seal and logo, and the words, design and photos on this site, belong to the Chamber or are used with permission. Please ask before reusing them; members may use Chamber member badges as the Chamber allows. Content members send us stays theirs. Sharing a link to any page is always fine.
8. Links to other sites
We link to sites we don't run, like member websites, maps and social media. We aren't responsible for what those sites say or do.
9. No guarantees
We do our best to keep this site accurate and working, but it's provided "as is," and we may change or take down any part of it at any time. To the extent the law allows, the Chamber and its directors, staff and volunteers aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, and our total liability is limited to what you paid the Chamber, if anything, in the 12 months before the claim. You agree to cover the Chamber's costs from claims caused by your misuse of the site or content you send us.
10. California law and changes
These terms are governed by California law. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Fresno County, California. If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms go to executive.director@kermanchamber.org or (559) 846-6343. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect on this site and why.
